VITTORIO IMPERO PULERÀ • 1962

He left Calabria with nothing.

No connections. No money. No guarantee that any of it would work. Just a name, a work ethic that never quit, and the quiet belief that a man could build something from scratch if he refused to stop.

He came to Canada. Built a business. Built a family. Sacrificed in ways most people never will.

He was stylish without trying. Warm but tough. Proud in the way that only men who've truly earned something can be.

He never got to see what his name became.

This brand is for him.

It was also built in one of the darkest years of my life.

I felt invisible. I didn't know who I was anymore. I felt like I was falling behind, falling apart, falling into something I couldn't name. I was grieving things I hadn't fully processed and anxious about a future I couldn't see clearly.

PULERA gave me something to hold onto.

Honouring my nonno gave it meaning beyond me. And slowly, building something real in the middle of the darkness gave me a reason to keep going.

The customer I was designing for, the one who feels unseen, who's been through it, who refuses to live small even when life is pressing down hard... That person is me.

It still is, some days.

PULERA is for the ones still in it.

For the ones who are broken but building. Who feel invisible but know they were made for more and want to be seen. Who want to show up in the world like they mean it, even on the days when that takes everything they have.

These aren't just glasses.

They're armour. They're identity. They're a statement that you're still here.

Because the name was always worth something. Now the whole world gets to see it.
